congratulations for clicking "send"! I sent a few out this week too. I don't even remember where I sent them, but if I need to check, I guess I can go to my mail archives!
Sharon is insane (ly talented) and I'm happy she has so much out -- let's you and I start with baby steps, Lisa -- here and there -- we'll need databases and spreadsheets to log where the subs have gone -- sheesh -- let's plan a strategy and for chris' sake keep track of where we've sent our little babies.
i have a spreadsheet which "tickled arlene pink" or whatever was her comment. she just keeps the mails in her sent folder or so. i like to keep track in a different way from hers: spreadsheet with title, prev published yes/no when/where, send date, status (pending, forthcoming), notes (declined when/where, simult sub etc).
Alas - I've heard back from Hiss and they didn't take either of hte two I sent. BUT they loved the one piece - saying it would have fit (another alas) last November's theme. It gives me hope that I can maybe write something that they /will/ like and want to publish.
Currently I have a three ring notebook where I write: places to submit to, where I submitted to and what, and what has been published and where. It's a bit difficult as I didn't do this with some pieces in the past and I don't know when, and in a couple of instances what piece. :( Ah well, live and learn.
So, maybe what we babysteppers should do is pick say one to three places and we'll all submit there ;)

Yes!! Way to go. Send more, more more. (Here's an inspiration to you - I currently have 96 poems out on submission. If I can do it, you can too.)
